BAE Systems plc is a British multinational defense, security and aerospace company headquartered in Farnborough, UK, formed in 1999 from the merger of British Aerospace and Marconi Electronic Systems. It is one of the world's largest defense contractors. Its former Israeli subsidiary, BAE Systems Rokar (Jerusalem), was sold to Elbit Systems in 2021.
