UChicago Medicine (University of Chicago Health System) is an academic health system based in Hyde Park, Chicago, that opened its first hospital in 1927. It brings together the University of Chicago Medical Center, Comer Children's Hospital, UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial in Harvey, Crown Point in Indiana and a regional care network, and employs roughly 13,000-14,000 people.
