Ingles Markets, Incorporated is a supermarket chain operating roughly 200 stores across six southeastern U.S. states (North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia and Alabama). Founded in 1963 and headquartered in Black Mountain, North Carolina, the company runs Ingles-branded grocery stores together with supporting shopping centers, a milk-processing subsidiary (Milkco) and fuel stations.
