Intuitive Machines is a Houston-based, publicly traded (Nasdaq: LUNR) space infrastructure company that builds spacecraft and lunar landers, operates lunar data networks and provides mission services for NASA, defense and commercial customers. Founded in 2013, it acquired Lanteris Space Systems (formerly Maxar Space Systems, Palo Alto CA) in January 2026, growing to about 1,700 employees.
