Franciscan Alliance is a nonprofit Catholic health system headquartered in Mishawaka, Indiana, operating under the Franciscan Health name. Its healthcare ministry began in Lafayette, Indiana, in 1875, and today it runs 11 hospital campuses across Indiana plus the Franciscan Physician Network, with more than 17,000 employees. Michael Englehart became president and CEO on 1 October 2026, succeeding longtime CEO Kevin Leahy.
