Elara Caring is one of the largest home-based care providers in the United States, offering skilled home health, hospice, personal care, behavioral health and palliative care. Formed in 2018 by merging Great Lakes Caring, National Home Health Care and Jordan Health Services, it is based in Dallas, Texas, and has about 26,000 caregivers in more than 200 locations across 18 states serving over 60,000 patients a day. In February 2026 Ares Private Equity and DaVita agreed a strategic investment in the company.
