Memorial Hermann Health System is one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in Southeast Texas, with 17 hospitals (14 owned and operated plus 3 joint ventures) and more than 280 care delivery sites across Greater Houston, including Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, a Level I trauma center and the main teaching hospital of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth. Founded in 1907 and headquartered in Houston, it has more than 35,000 employees and 5,500 affiliated physicians. President and CEO David L. Callender will retire at the end of 2026 and CFO Alec H. King takes over on January 1, 2027.
