Chief Algorithms Officer (CAO)
We are looking for an exceptional technology and algorithms leader to build and lead a new Algorithms Practice within a global organization.
This is not a traditional algorithm development role. We are building a high-caliber team focused on solving some of the most complex and high-impact challenges faced by leading organizations — problems where advanced algorithms, AI, optimization and data can fundamentally change the outcome.
This is an opportunity for an accomplished technologist who is ready for the next step: to build something from the ground up, shape its direction, assemble an exceptional team, work directly with senior clients, and turn complex business challenges into breakthrough technology solutions.
What you’ll do
* Build the Algorithms Practice from the ground up, defining its vision, capabilities, methodology and technological direction.
* Lead the solution of highly complex, high-impact problems for leading clients in Israel and globally.
* Work directly with senior executives to identify critical business challenges and translate them into sophisticated algorithmic and technology solutions.
* Provide hands-on technical leadership on the most challenging engagements, from problem definition and solution design through implementation and production.
* Recruit, build and lead an exceptional team of algorithm developers, researchers and technology experts.
* Identify new client opportunities, shape solutions and play a key role in winning and leading strategic engagements.
* Develop proprietary IP, accelerators and products that can turn successful solutions into scalable capabilities.
* Build the Israeli practice with the ambition to become a global Center of Excellence within the organization.
What we’re looking for
* A strong track record of developing and leading complex algorithmic solutions in advanced technology environments.
* Deep expertise in one or more areas such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Optimization, Computer Vision, NLP/LLMs, Applied AI or other advanced algorithmic domains.
* Experience taking complex technological initiatives from concept to production.
* Exceptional problem-solving ability and the intellectual curiosity to tackle problems without obvious solutions.
* A rare combination of deep technical expertise, business acumen and client-facing capabilities.
* The ability to communicate complex ideas and build credibility with both senior executives and top-tier technical professionals.
* Leadership capabilities and the ability to attract, develop and inspire exceptional talent.
* A strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ambition to build something significant from zero to one.
* MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics or another relevant quantitative field — an advantage.
